Please remember to dial 911 for all emergencies.
As the Sheriff, I am going to do everything in my power to keep our neighborhoods safe. As such, I have authorized the creation of the Bell County Virtual Neighborhood Watch program called C.R.I.M.E.S. which supports an online reporting system to welcome the community's participation by providing information to help solve crime in the community such as human trafficking, burglaries, crimes of violence, property crimes, and other suspicious activities.
What if you do not know the law?
Sheriff Eddy Lange
We would like to hear about any positive contacts with our deputies, so please "Click 2 Compliment" a deputy.
1. C.R.I.M.E.S. is an online platform for the community to feel comfortable in reporting information.
2. All information will be analyzed on its merits and upon corroboration will be forwarded to the Bell County Sheriff's Department.
C.R.I.M.E.S. Mission Statement
"Bridging communication between law enforcement and the community"
Our goal is to collect, collate, corroborate, and analyze community information to detect, deter, or disrupt criminal activity and aid law enforcement in the prosecution of crime.
How the system works.
